A former student of the Ecole Normale Supérieure, Bernard Mazoyer is a professor of radiology at the University of Bordeaux and a practicing physician at the Bordeaux University hospital. He leads the Neurofunctional Imaging group, a CNRS research unit at the CEA and the University of Bordeaux (UMR5296). A pioneer in brain imaging methods, he is ranked among the top 1% of scientists worldwide by ISI and has published over 200 articles cited over 11,000 times in international publications.
