Sylvana CÔTÉ

A professor in the department of social and preventative medicine at the University of Montreal, Sylvana is a research chair of the Initiatives of Excellence at the University of Bordeaux. Her work examines the fields of psychopathology and the epidemiology of lifelong mental health. Her work focuses on the study of intergenerational transmission of risk factors for mental health problems and the effectiveness of perinatal and pre-school services in preventing these problems. Her research program is built around two areas of research (etiology and prevention) and knowledge transfer.
